- If it is slightly below the pencil, then it is known as ptosis grade two. However, if your nipple points towards the floor in a pendulum fashion then you have grade three ptosis (also known as national geographic breast).
- Women with pseudoptosis and grade one ptosis can benefit from breast augmentation but not a breast lift. Women with grade two or grade three ptosis can definitely benefit from a breast lift.
